Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) marked the Kashmir Solidarity Day on Friday and held a rally to express support to Kashmiris right to self-determination. Led by the PML-N Lahore President Mohammad Pervaiz Malik MNA, the rally which was started from Alhamra Hall was culminated in front of Punjab Assembly. The PML-N activists' chanted slogans in support of Kashmiris. The PML-N also set up camps at Faisal Chowk.
Addressing the participants of the rally, Malik said that Pakistan would continue to extend its moral, political and diplomatic support for a just and peaceful settlement of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with aspirations of the Kashmiris. "We remained engaged in a sincere, sustained and purposeful dialogue with India on Kashmir during both PML-N governments. We believe that with sincerity and courage, we can achieve a solution to the long-standing Kashmir dispute," the PML-N leader said. Malik further said the Kashmir issue would be resolved under the leadership of Mian Nawaz Sharif. Khawaja Imran Nazir, Shehzad Ahmed Raja, Raja Sher Zaman and others spoke on the occasion and highlighted the Kashmir cause and plight of Kashmiris.
