Pakistan Peoples' Party Punjab observed the Kashmir Day with traditional zeal to mark its solidarity with Kashmiris. The party workers staged a rally outside the Punjab Assembly on Friday along with a couple of other political parties and human rights organisations. The party workers were carrying party flags and banners inscribed with slogans in favour of Kashmiris.
Speaking to the participants, the party leadership said the party has always taken a clear stance on international issues, including the Kashmir issue. He said the world respected Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto Shaheed for their stance on international issues, adding the first time in the history, ZAB raised voice for Kashmir on the international forum. They said only solution of the Kashmir issue was in the implementation of the UN resolutions in its letter and spirit and urged the Indian government to honour the international laws.
