Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf former organiser Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has announced holding of protest demonstrations in all districts across Punjab against PIA privatisation and anti-people policies on Saturday. He said the PTI would protest against the anti-people policies at all forums including parliament. He said the rulers were more interested in their business deals with India instead of Kashmir dispute.
He said the elections in Azad Kashmir could not be held in a free and fair manner under the PML-N rule. He demanded that army should be deployed inside and outside polling stations.
Chaudhry Sarwar was talking to media at the residence of PTI Azad Kashmir secretary-general Dewan Ghulam Mohiuddin on Friday. MPAs Mian Aslam Iqbal, Saadia Suhail, PTI Punjab women wing president Saloni Bukhari and a large number of party workers were also present on the occasion. Chaudhry Sarwar said the incumbent rulers had become a plague for the country and every Pakistani wanted to get rid of him and added that the PML-N had only experience of failures. He said the PTI would protest against the privatisation and government policies in front of Punjab Assembly in the afternoon.
Replying to a question, he said the PML-N government wanted to strengthen their relations with India for the causes of their businesses and in these circumstances there were minimum chances with regard to the resolution of Kashmir dispute. He said the PTI after coming into power would resolve the Kashmir dispute according to the wishes of Kashmiris.
Dewan Ghulam Mohiuddin said the PTI was ready to contest elections against all political parties including the PML-N and PPP in the Azad Kashmir elections. He said the elections should be held under the supervision of army so that the PML-N could be checked from committing rigging.
