The faculty, staff and students of University of Health Sciences (UHS) observed Kashmir Solidarity Day on Friday with the pledge to continue supporting Kashmir's right to self-determination. A walk was organised to support the just cause of the Kashmiris. The participants of the walk strongly condemned gross violations of basic human rights and excesses being committed by Indian troops in the occupied valley.
Addressing on this occasion, UHS pro-vice chancellor, Professor Dr Junaid Sarfraz Khan said Kashmir is the unfinished agenda of partition plan under which Pakistan and India emerged as independent states in 1947. He said people of Pakistan extend their moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris' right to self-determination.
