Punjab Minister for Commerce, Industries and Investment Chaudhry Muhammad Shafiq has revealed that provincial government has released up to Rs 370 million for the Small Industrial Estate (SIE) in Faisalabad. He ststed this while meeting a delegation, headed by the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chief Executive and Board of Management's Chairman, Riaz ul Haq, here on Wednesday.
He said the gas pipeline in SIE had also been replaced. "Punjab Industries department is upgrading all the small industrial estates in the province while development work has been commenced in Faisalabad SIE," he added. He also said that upkeep of the sewerage system in the Faisalabad SIE is underway followed by road infrastructure and other civic amenities. "The project would be completed by June 2017, which will attract foreign investment and will create huge job opportunities," he added.
