The Election Commission of Pakistan has received court notice to respond by March 15 following a petition challenging the election of a governing party member of the Punjab Assembly for possessing a fake bachelor's degree. On Friday, Petitioner Fazal-ur-Rehman told the Lahore High Court that politician Chaudhry Irshad Ahmad Arain, who won the election of the Punjab Assembly PP-233, in Vehari-II, had a fake degree.
