Administrator DHA Brigadier Zubair Ahmed visited DHA City Karachi (DCK) astride Super Highway and spent a busy day at the project site. He chaired a meeting which was attended by relevant DHA/DCK officials and consultant in which the hiccups/complications involved in starting DCK landmark projects in pipeline including Theme Park, DCK Interchange and Malir Motorway were reviewed and appropriate/prompt decisions were taken to expedite their initiation without any further delay.
Administrator directed the DCK management to speed up concurrent development of all infrastructural and communal facilities in the area and to ensure availability of electricity in the sector positively before it is opened for construction this year. Later Administrator drove through the extensive DCK road network and visited various sites/districts of DCK including Central Business District, Education District, Mixed Used District and DHA Oasis (Farmhouses) site where development work was going on in full swing.
He went up to furthest edge of present DCK (Sector 16), an area having a unique topographical background comprising high mounts and undulating valleys where construction of a Golf Resort and Villas will start soon. Administrator also visited Goth Karim Dad in DCK where the locals expressed their joy and appreciation on the ongoing fast track development of the project which was catalyst in providing employment to the villagers and in opening a new era of progress and prosperity in the area.-PR
