National Peace Committee for Interfaith Harmony on Sunday took out a rally in favour of Pak Army and COAS General Raheel Sharif, which ended outside the Karachi Press Club.
A large number of participants, carrying placards and banners inscribed with slogans in favour of Pakistan Army and Raheel Sharif, chanted slogans of 'Long Live Pakistan' and 'Long Live Pak Army.' They also displayed portraits of Raheel Sharif.
Addressing the rally, Syed Amin Shah Rashdi, Naveed Saleem and others said that army has broken down the backbone of terrorists and peace restored in the country with the efforts of Army and Rangers.
They demanded of the government to give extension to General Raheel Sharif for eliminating the terrorists.
