The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani awarded two lady police commandos on excellent performance in the field of training in a ceremony held at CPO Peshawar on Monday. According to details for the first time in the history of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police Commandos Training was introduced for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ladies police in Elite Police Training Centre Nowshera.
A batch of 34 ladies constable successfully completed the first-ever 6th months long commandos course by undergoing all training included in the course ie physical training, Jude Karate, Repelling, small and heavy weapon firing training. Over all two ladies constable Fouzia Saeed and Safia Naz stood 1st and 2nd respectively in the course. The police chief Nasir Khan Durrani while addressing the ceremony appreciated the devotion, hard work and professional commitment of both the ladies and said that high professional training was prerequisite for achieving the desired goals and targets in line of duty and directed the awardees to fully equip themselves of all sorts of professional training for meeting the impending challenges in a befitting manner.
