Adjourning the hearing of dual nationality matter of more than 24 parliamentarians for a month on Wednesday the Supreme Court asked the respondents to engage counsel in the case. Appearing before a three-member bench led by Justice Azmat Saeed Sheikh in the matter, Senator Rahman Malik pleaded that although the dual nationality matter has become infructuous, he may be allowed to hire services of lawyers in the current case. Later, the hearing of the matter was adjourned for a month.
Meanwhile, the bench also adjourned the hearing of an appeal filed against Election Tribunal's dismissal of a plea challenging the victory of PML-N's Sheikh Rohail Asghar from NA 124 Lahore constituency results till first week of March.
