Pesco drive in full swing

On the directives of Chief Executive, Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) Anwar Ul Haq Yousafzai, a drive against illegal use of electricity is in full swing throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In this connection Pesco Wapda House Peshawar Surveillance team under the supervision of Naseem Ullah, Director and Sami Ullah Bangash, Deputy Director raided in different areas of Lala sub-division and detected direct commercial connections.
During the checking, a direct connection to an under-construction plaza owned by Haji Dilawar, Sethi Town Peshawar was also found. FIRs have been launched against the culprit and further investigation initiated. Similarly, 8 defective meters were also found which were replaced immediately and sent to Pesco meter laboratory. The Pesco Surveillance Team also raided in Mardan, Sher Ghar Bazar and detected 10 direct commercial connections including hotels, markets, general stores, property dealer etc. FIRs have been registered against them and further investigation started.
