An upward trend was witnessed on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in the process of trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Makai low type was up by Rs 25 to Rs 2775 and the best quality was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 2875, other commodities maintained overnight levels, they said. On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low variety was down by Rs 10 to Rs 2970 and best type fell by Rs 50 to Rs 3000, Irri-white (broken) lost Rs 100 to Rs 2700 and Rs 2800, they said. Prices were unchanged on the grams, seeds sectors, they said.
