The Punjab law minister has made it clear that no amendment is being carried out in the National Accountability Bureau Act. Minister Rana Sanaullah speaking with newsmen on Friday said, "The bureau is authorised to initiate indiscriminate action in the Punjab and we have not stopped it from taking any action." In reference to a criticism by the opposition leader in the National Assembly, he said, "It does not suit to the opposition leader to criticise the bureau."
He also suggested that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak to take care of his health, saying, "Pervez Khattak should take care of his health and have medicine and food on time." About possible existence of terror networks in the province, the minister said, "Neither is there any nursery of terrorists in any part of the Punjab nor any training of terrorism is given by any seminary. The opposition leader should point to any place where extremism exists in any part of the Punjab."
