Traffic Police Hyderabad fined 205 commercial vehicles during checks for not having valid route permits, fitness certificate and driving licences. The amount of Rs 62300 was recovered as fine from them and the campaign was launched on the directives of RTA, said a press statement issued by Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Hyderabad on Friday.
RTA has launched the campaign on the directives of Supreme Court of Pakistan, Sindh High Court and Sindh Transport Department, it further said. The checks and search drives was launched on February 22, 23, 24 and 26 at routes from Hyderabad to Sanghar, Matiari, Nawabshah; from Hyderabad to Dadu, Larkana; within Hyderabad city and from Hyderabad to Karachi, respectively.
