Head of UAE's Business Group and Chairman of Al-Zarooni Foundation Suhail Mohd Al-Zarooni, while referring to a recommendation by Acting Governor KPK Asad Qaiser, offered assistance to Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province for setting up a vocational training institute for technical education.
Exchanging views with Acting Governor KPK during a meeting, he said that Pakistan was blessed with talented and hardworking labour force and this talent can further by refined through technical training which would help them in finding suitable employment opportunities not only in local industries but would also enable them to find a respectable jobs in United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and many other countries around the world.
While extending full cooperation to Acting Governor KPK for setting up a vocational training institute in KPK, he said that Al-Zarooni Foundation was willing to establish similar technical training institutes in other provinces of Pakistan as well. Suhail Mohd Zarooni, during his visit to Bacha Khan University which was recently hit by terrorism, vehemently condemned this barbaric act and said that the dream of having a well-educated and prosperous Pakistan cannot be simply torn into pieces and such acts cannot dent the courage of Pakistani nation. "The business and industrial community of UAE stands united with their Pakistani brothers," he added.
During his visit to Abdul Wali Khan University which is one of the most advanced universities in Pakistan, Chairman Al-Zarooni Foundation opined that this university would create a new history in the education sector of Pakistan. He was impressed to see that state-of-the-art equipment have been installed all over the university from its library to all the classrooms. "The technology being used by the University will be hard to find in any other university of Pakistan", he added.
While appreciating the massive development work in KPK province, Suhail Al-Zarooni particularly mentioned the completion of Hayatabad flyover Phase III before deadline deserves to be appreciated and other such projects should also be initiated in the entire KPK province. Although KPK province has been facing serious terrorism threats yet it was heartening to note that the KPK government has somehow continued its journey to progress despite so many odds.
He also appreciated the travelling facilities from Islamabad to Peshawar which have been introduced by PML government of Nawaz Sharif and said that these travelling facilities have resulted in substantially reducing the travelling time from many hours to only a few hours which would surely ensure more progress for the country's economy.-PR
