With the collaboration Taimur Khalid Khan President of Rotary Books for the World, Sulaiman Dhanani Country Director Hashoo Foundation diligently distributed 1000 books to Air Foundation, City School System, Lynux School, The Educators, The Allied School, Royal Model School, Queen School, Comodre Learning Foundation, Edopia School System, Knowledge Gazibo School & Rawalpindi School System in Hotel Pearl Continental, Rawalpindi this Saturday.
Hashoo Foundation, Rotary Club of Islamabad Margalla and Rotary Club Rawalpindi have received 103,182 books since 2011, these books ranges from materials that are useful to primary up to higher education levels.
Rotary Books for the World Program, Hashoo Foundation and Rotary Clubs are actively contributing to Pakistan's pledge towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Goal No. 4, which is to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, including that all girls and boys have access to quality Early Childhood Development, Care and Pre-primary Education so that they are ready for primary education.
Rotary Pakistan Literacy Mission Representative Wasim Khan expressed on the event that these books and educational material will help teachers and students increasing their knowledge, and enhance classroom learning to promote community development. Rotary Club works for peace, health and literacy. While addressing to audience Sulaiman Dhanani CD Hashoo Foundation stated that "We have structured the Early Childhood Training Program in HF since 2006 which covers three domains of Child Development including cognitive, psychosocial and physical development. Most of the young women graduated by HF certified programs which will be able to secure employment with local school whilst some graduates have established their own pre-school facilities in their local areas."-PR
