The member of the Special Monitoring Unit of the Chief Minister Secretariat has lauded the Violence Bill, saying it focuses on redressing the women's grievances and on their legal assistance and rehabilitation. Member Salman Sufi giving a briefing to civil society representatives on the Violence Bill at his office on Monday said, "No religion allows trampling of the basic rights of any member of society.
