"Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) in collaboration with New Green Power Taiwan will train its in-service teachers and unemployed youth in the field of solar technology. All necessary arrangements will be finalised soon to start this project in a befitting manner."
This was stated by Chairperson TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Sheikh in a meeting with the delegation of New Green Power Taiwan, led by former vice president of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mian Abuzar Shad. The delegation included Andy Tang, Susan Sang, Alicia Hsu, Kai Tan, Alan Tsung-Lun, Zubair Ahmed and Faisal Ilyas. TEVTA Chief Operating Officer Jawad Ahmed Qureshi and other officers were also present in the meeting. Sheikh said that Taiwan's firm is planning to invest in Pakistan in solar projects.
