The Punjab Agriculture Department (PAD) is arranging one-day "Punjab agriculture conference 2016" to discuss proposals from stakeholders to finalise an agricultural policy. The Punjab chief minister is chief guest while Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Sikandar Hayat Bosan is the guest of honour. Those also expected to be available are Punjab Minister for Agriculture Farrukh Javed, agricultural experts, vice chancellors and professors of the agricultural universities, progressive farmers and officers of the Agriculture, Food, Livestock and Forests departments.
