Message from Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Revenue/Minister of State

It is a matter of immense pleasure and satisfaction that Karachi will get its second Large Taxpayers Unit. Karachi being the biggest economic hub of the country has a number of big taxpayers and only a single LTU was not able to cater to their needs. Those who pay large sums of money in form of taxes for the nation do deserve special facilitation.
The LTU-II is being inaugurated today with the underlying commitment of ensuring fast and effective service delivery to large taxpayers, through personalised attention, quality of service, transparency in transactions and a cordial atmosphere. I congratulate the Federal Board of Revenue on the efforts put in from all relevant quarters to achieve this success. The government is committed to facilitate taxpayers in every way possible, so that they do not face any hindrances in discharging their national duty.
