Today is a special day for all of us, as we inaugurate the second Large Taxpayer Unit in Karachi. This is yet another great milestone in the successful journey of FBR. I would take this opportunity to thank the current leadership for its vision and support without which this achievement would not have been possible.
I also laud the efforts of my whole team who have worked tirelessly to achieve this objective. The LTU-II will serve as a one-window facility to our large taxpayers. The unit has been empowered to deal with all issues and also provide tangible support to large taxpayers.
Timely and effective service delivery and resolution of disputes amicably will be the hallmark of this unit. Facilitation of taxpayers is the cornerstone of FBR policy and therefore, all our efforts are being utilised to ensure efficient service provision and the LTU-II in Karachi is an evidence of the same.
