Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Punjab leader Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said Punjab should not be a "no-go area" for the National Accountability Burea (NAB) and added that the PML-N leaders have started hue and cry over their accountability; the corrupt were no less than terrorists and needed to be eliminated.
Chaudhry Sarwar was addressing a party workers convention at Shahdra on Sunday. PTI Punjab women wing president Saloni Bukhari and other leaders were also present.
He said every body in the country including Chief Justice of Pakistan are pointing out corruption, excesses and injustices but the rulers had yet not shown any sensitivity.
The political parties, which have militant wings, could not be well-wisher of the country therefore the government should take action against those political parties that were dancing on the tunes of foreign masters.
He said that PTI is the only political party that had clear record and working for the welfare of masses and the country. PML-N and PPP joined hands, when they found their interests common. He said the people had become disappointed because of rulers' failed policies and their failure to fulfil promises made during the 2013 general elections campaign. The country was still facing massive load-shedding, price-hike, joblessness and even corruption all around.
He said everybody including Chief Justice of Pakistan were identifying exploitation in the name of democracy.
He said the PML-N and PPP had no political future in the country and now PTI would help masses drive out of plethora of crises. Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ahmad, Saloni Bukhari and other party activists said chairman Imran Khan was fighting a battle to save the country and every person in the country was standing alongside him. They said the PTI would form the next government and Imran Khan would become Prime Minister.
