Lean business on grain market

Slow business activity was witnessed on the wholesale grain market on Tuesday in the absence of leading buyers, dealers said. On the cereals side, Barley Sindh and Mardan lost Rs 200 to Rs 3500, other commodities held the overnight levels, they added. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcakes low type was up by Rs 70 to Rs 2120 while the best variety did not budge any side, maintaining overnight level at Rs 2150, they said. Prices were unmoved on the grams and rice sectors, dealers said.
