Colourful Dera Ismail Khan Division Women Games got under way under the aegis of Director General Sports and Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at different venues including Sports Complex Dera Ismail Khan amidst tight security around the venues on Sunday. District Nazim Dera Ismail Khan Nawazada Aziz Ullah Khan Alizai was the chief guest on this occasion formally announced the commencement of the three-day games.
The Games would continue for three days with more than 340 players would vie for the top honour in cricket, football, hockey, basketball, karate, judo, taekwondo, badminton ,table tennis, athletics, and squash.
