Wishing you could swipe or pinch your screen on your laptop like you do with your smartphone? It's possible with the new Neonode Airbar, which turns PCs and laptops into touch interactive devices.
The Airbar is a flat black sensor bar which gets magnetically attached to the bottom of displays. It understands all gestures commonly used on smartphones.
The Airbar projects an invisible light over the screen. This picks up nearly any kind of hand movement next to the screen, making it possible to scroll while wearing gloves, pinch despite long fingernails or even draw with a real paintbrush.
The Airbar works with the Windows and Chrome OS operating systems and is also compatible with Mac OS X. As demonstrated at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, it will be available in different lengths and has a USB connection.
There is no installation necessary. As Airbar promises: It's just plug and touch when you need it.
