Pakistan had a restricted spectrum of advertising alternatives for a substantial number of years and electrifying original media frequently obtainable all through the globe were as good as unheard of. However, all that became the past in the late nineties as the need for unique types of ads grew as a bigger number of organizations competed for a portion of the spreading market.
Since the late nineties, the advertising industry completely evolved massively due to technological advancements and the introduction of digital and internet mediums. Pakistan followed the same route of industry expansion, as the number of advertising companies, media groups started increasing significantly. Multi-national advertising groups started collaborating with local companies to mark their roots in the country.
In 1965 a new company with the name of Kimco Advertising emerged and continued serving its clients till I took the charge of Kimco Advertising in 1986 which went on to being awarded many high profile awards. Later in the year 2013, I decided to re-brand the agency with a young and dedicated team to face the challenges of the modern day advertising needs. Hence, Oktopus 360 Media came into being, with full 360 service availability for its clients with 12 business units across 7 specialized functions of Advertising: Media, Creative, Business Analytics, Out-Of-Home, Activation, PR, Digital Media, employing over 100 communications professional across 4 cities in Pakistan.
Oktopus 360 Media operates on the vision to simply be the best Communications Group by using their insights, experience, expertise, creativity, and environment knowledge and business sense to increase their clients' profits in a sustainable way. At present 6 dedicated companies working to provide superior services to all its clientele. Namely: Panther Media (Specialized strategic leadership and media agency with an experienced & efficient team), Spider Media (Specialized Full service agency with Creative OOH planning at its core), Quetzal (Specialized Creative Agency providing modern approach to Brand Communication), String Media (Specialized Digital Agency with state of the art infrastructure & team), O Experience (Specialized Experiential marketing company with one of the most experienced team and infrastructure) and Oktopus Alica Real Estate Marketing (specialized marketing services dedicated specifically to the real estate market).
The combined performances of all the above mentioned companies have made Oktopus 360 Media the fastest growing agency in the history of Pakistan. We have been ranked as the 8th largest agency in Pakistan according to a survey conducted by Aurora Magazine (November-December 2015). Always contributing and promoting creativity in the industry, on behalf of Oktopus 360 Media I would like to congratulate the ADFEST management on its efforts towards bringing together the creative minds from across the globe and providing them with a platform to showcase their skills where they can be recognized and acknowledged by the whole world.
Pakistan Advertising Association ( PAA ) and all its members support the advertising community globally through various forums. The recent example is ADFEST next is IAA Congress and in 2017 ADASIA . Pakistan being the host country for ADASIA 2019 I personally feel a great attendance from Pakistan on all these forums.
After a gap of several years, PAA is now actively playing its role. Mr. Masood Hashmi C.E.O Orient McCann and Chairman PAA is leading the delegation along with other PAA members to attend the ADFEST in Pattaya, Thailand. I congratulate Mr. Zeeshan M. Khan (CEO TNI Communications) for doing the excellent work for the ADFEST event. Also, I am thankful to Mr. Vinit chairman ADFEST for taking personal interest for PAA and its members.
