The world of advertising is constantly changing, thanks to the technological advancements all around the world. Creativity is the key to be noticed in the world of today. To celebrate the creativity in advertising, ADFEST has been playing its part for over a decade, helping advertisers to think out of the box and reach out to their target audiences. This year, too, ADFEST takes a step ahead and got more countries on board to share ideas and their inspiring stories with the rest of the world.
On this occasion, I would like to congratulate Business Recorder on bringing out a Special Report on ADFEST 2016. Business Recorder is one of the most prestigious newspapers of the Pakistan with over 50 years of providing reliable news and authentic stories. Over the years, it has grown both in terms of revenue and reputation.
Here I would also like to mention that Pakistan is looking forward to host Ad Asia 2019 at Lahore, the cultural capital of Pakistan. Lahore is known as the heart of Pakistan for a number of reasons; it is the city of rich art and architecture. It's the custodian of our heritage and literature. It's a city of festivals,food and colour. Where it is so deeply rooted to our traditions, it is one of the most progressive cities of the country by being the modern education hub of Pakistan and boasting the highly advanced commuting system in the country. Everyone remembers Pakistan hosting Ad Asia in Lahore in 1989.
Now Adasia returns to Pakistan and to Lahore after 17 years.
