I would like to congratulate Business Recorder on the publication of this Special Supplement on ADFEST 2016, which is starting from March 16, 2016 at Pattaya, Thailand for four days with a theme 'Creative Intelligence'. Let me also commend your editorial team for its consistency and continuous practice for keeping the entire advertising industry fraternity up on advertising business scenario, trends, and fresh developments through bringing out special editions every now and the non important international and national events when they happen.
ADFEST, no doubt, is Asia's much celebrated and recognized regional creative annual festival since 1998 to provide a unique learning opportunity for participants through seeing the best works, listening to inspiring speakers, and exchanging ideas. It is the ideal place for the creative industry to gather, network, exchange ideas, and meet new friends. Over 1000 delegates from across the world including Pakistan every year congregate at the event.
This year, ADFEST is divided into CRAFT@ADFEST and CREATIVE@ADFEST with Creative Intelligence at the heart of the theme. I think the concept of Creative Intelligence is to make the practice of creativity routine. It can be an organic, everyday occurrence, not an artificial experience orchestrated by consultants. Above all, Creative Intelligence is a way of expressing our humanity, our unique power to create, connect, and inspire.
Here, I take this opportunity to appreciate Mr. Jimmy Lam, President AdFest2016 and his team for their enormous energy to get ready to greet advertising fraternity from all corners yet again with the news, views and changes in the world. Once again I applaud Business Recorders on bringing out this 'Special Supplement' with a hope that it will provide an excellent opportunity for advertising professionals and personnel to learn, connect and inspire even more and better.
