Dr Sayeed Ghani has been appointed as the Acting Dean and Director of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi.
According to IBA press release issued on Tuesday, the IBA Board of Governors in its meeting has nominated Dr Sayeed Ghani, Associate Professor and Associate Dean, Faculty Computer Sciences, IBA as Acting Dean and Director IBA until the government announces IBA's new Dean and Director.
Dr Sayeed Ghani has a B.S. from MIT and M.S. and Ph.D from Columbia University in Electrical Engineering. His field of expertise is in Wireless and Mobile Communications.
He is presently Associate Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science at IBA and has also been a member of the Board of Governors of IBA. Dr Ghani also has over 12 years of industry experience prior to joining IBA in 2001 as Chairman of the Center for Computer Studies.-PR
