The Consul General of United States in Peshawar William Martin called on speaker, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Asad Qaiser here on Thursday. MS Katreen Hoffoman, Provincial Minister Anisa Zeb, Members Provincial Assembly Mehmood Khan Bethni and Sardar Aurangzeb Nalotha also attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed in-depth mutual cooperation on parliamentary system and matters of common interest. The Speaker Asad Qaiser also spoke on the security situation and the loss of innocent people in Bacha Khan University Charsadda, Shabqadar courts, NADRA office Mardan and the bus carrying government employees and other such incidents.
He also told about the computerisation of Assembly Secretariat while Special Secretary, Attaullah Khan briefed the guests in detail on the e-governance project and facilitation program for the staff and members of Provincial Assembly.
