The Punjab Minister for Education and Youth Affairs Rana Mashhood Khan has vowed to make no compromise on merit, saying that stability of Pakistan can only be achieved through meritocracy. He was speaking at a seminar in connection with Pakistan Day organised by the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore at Alhamara Hall.
He said the Punjab government was a strict believer of youth empowerment at all levels, as the youth is a precious asset for development of the country. He urged the students to keep the spirit to deliver up for prosperity of the country. He further said the Punjab Government was steps to address youth problems in education, employment, financial assistance, sports and other co-curricular activities. "The initiatives taken by Government for improving Pakistan socially and economically are being acknowledged by different organisations in the world," he added.
