Ameer Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) Hafiz Muhammad Saeed said here that though the western powers are repeatedly trying to invade our Islamic and cultural values, their efforts will go in vain in the wake of bold stance and barriers of religious scholars in the way of un-Islamic laws.
Addressing a Nazariya Pakistan Convention at a local in Peshawar on Sunday, he said that Pakistan came into being on the basis of Islamic ideology, but western power through its agents has started changing our educational syllabus by including objectionable lessons and literature. However, with the help of God Almighty such efforts won't bear fruit because of vigilant leadership of religious scholars.
Hafiz Saeed He said that their great leader Qauid-e-Azam Mohammad Jinah and Allam Mohammad Iqbal were well aware of circumstances which they were facing in the united India and that was the reason that they started efforts for a separate homeland in the shape of Pakistan.
JuD chief mentioned that the ideology of the country was based on `Kalima-e-Taeeba' and Islamic philosophy, which gave a strong base to the country in the shape of first Islamic ideological state of the world.
He said that drone attacks are being carried out against our ideology in the form of woman protection bill and proposed amendment in the blasphemy law, but these efforts will bear no fruit for the country's secular sect.
He alleged that "on the one hand, killer of thousand of innocent people General Pervez Musharaf has been enjoying a luxurious life while, on the hand, Mumtaz Qadri has been executed, although he was pardoned by Salman Taseer's family."
The convention was attended, among others, by Jamaat-e-Islami's KPK Ameer Professor Ibrahim, JUI-F leader Abdul Jalil Jan, provincial Ameer JUI-S Maulana Yousaf Shah and President Ittehad-ul-Ulema Abdul Akbar Chitrali.
