Corps Commander Karachi, Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar on Tuesday called on Governor Sindh, Dr Ishrat ul Ebad Khan, at the Governor House here. A statement issued from the Governor House said that the law and order in the province especially in the metropolis and the Karachi operation discussed in-detail. It was resolved at the meeting that the operation would continue till the elimination of terrorists and all the resources would be utilised for this purpose, the statement added.
The meeting expressed satisfaction over the increasing trend for foreign investment in the province after the improvement in the law and order situation. It was also agreed that the foreign investors would be provided every facility as well as security and that the investment environment would be made more conducive. Tributes were also paid to the personnel of Pakistan Army and other law enforcement agencies.
