On the occasion of Pakistan Day, ICI Pakistan arranged a fun full activity for the Children Cancer Hospital (CCH) patients and their parents at PAF Museum on Wednesday. According to the event organisers, the theme of the event was to share happiness with childhood cancer worriers. As many as 100 children fighting cancer participated in various fun full activities such as stage dramas, speech and poetry competitions, and sung national songs with their parents.
Addressing on the occasion Executive Director Children Caner Hospital Dr Shambil said: "It has been our mission to provide all possible facilities to the children suffering from the cancer." He said a number of patients have been cured and they are now leading normal life. The purpose of this activity is to give a sense of joy to the depressed children and their parents, he said.
He said CCH is only institute providing free of cost treatment for the last many years. Nearly 100 patients from three to 14-year old are presently under treatment at different stages of this decease. Senior Manager, ICI Pakistan Noman Jafri also spoke. Abdul Ghani and other volunteers were also present on this occasion.
