Attempt to smuggle hashish foiled

Khasadar Force on Thursday foiled an attempt to smuggle huge quantity of hashish and arrested two alleged drug peddlers. According to Political Naib Tehsilder, Torkham, Shakeel Khan, the Khasadar troops, on a tip-off, stopped a trailer, which was transporting coal from Afghanistan to Pakistan. During checking, 182 kg of hashish, covered in plastic bags and concealed under the coal, was recovered. He said that two smugglers, identified as Imran, resident of Peshawar and Rehman an Afghan national, were apprehended.
