K-Electric hosted the visit of NED University's students at its power plants located in Bin Qasim and Korangi. The technical visit is in line with the KE's vision to equip and well prepare engineering universities' students with practical industrial exposure. As per KE's press statement, a group of 65 students from NED who are also the members of "American Society of Mechanical Engineers" and "Society of Manufacturing Engineers" along with faculty members visited Bin Qasim Power Plant (BQSP-1) and Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) Korangi.
While sharing experience about the visit, Maryam Khan, an engineering student from NED University said, "We have had many industrial visits but this was by far the best one. We learned a lot; we got the opportunity to practically see everything that we had been studying in theory. The environment was very friendly.'-PR
