LPG Chamber of Pakistan Chairman Irfan Khokhar said that explosive licences are very essential for all the LPG tankers and bowsers but explosive department only issue licences on the basis of bribery. He demanded that easy way should be introduced for acquiring licences.

Chairman LPG chamber Irfan Khokhar and LPG Transport Association Chairman Nazir Thursday formed a six-member committee for resolving the issues of LPG industry, including accidents and others. The transport of LPG industry is the backbone of the industry. They demanded that government and especially Prime Minister should take notice of loot and plunder to ensure availability of cheap fuel. They criticised the explosive department, saying that the department has issued 70, 000 licences taking bribery. Nazir said that there should be no compromise on the safety and standards of cylinders and bowsers.-PR
