British High Commissioner (BHC) Thomas Drew met Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, here on Thursday. British High Commissioner condemned Gulshan Iqbal Park tragedy and expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the loss of precious human lives. He also expressed condolences and sympathies with the bereaved families.
Speaking on the occasion, Shahbaz Sharif said that Gulshan Iqbal Park tragedy is the worst incident of the history. He said that the entire Pakistani nation has once again united for coping with terrorism. The Chief Minister said that terrorism is a common problem of the world and it has to be dealt with jointly. He said that there is no room for extremism and terrorism in Pakistan. He said that all out energies will be utilized for making Quaid's Pakistan a haven of peace. Thomas Drew said that Britain is with the Punjab government and its people in this hour of grief and standing with Pakistan for eliminating terrorism.
