A high level delegation of All Pakistan Business Forum (APBF) recently visited Italy to hold several productive meetings with the Italian business community. One of the key meetings was held at the Italian Foreign Affairs office in Rome. The tour was graciously facilitated by the Ambassador of Italy in Pakistan - His Excellency, Stefano Pontecorvo.
The deliberations were aimed at increasing bilateral trade and investment between the two friendly countries. During the visit, the APBF delegation held insightful discussions with the Confederation of Italian Industries, the Italian Trade Agency and numerous representatives of successful Italian companies.
The President of APBF Ibrahim Qureshi stated that: "These dialogues between the leading businessmen and industrialists were meant to inspire the Italian investors to explore the healthy business opportunities in Pakistan, and foster new profitable ventures. The APBF members invited the Italian participants to visit Pakistan, where APBF will arrange fruitful B2B meetings with progressive business groups, to seek fresh collaborative ventures.
The Ambassador of Pakistan in Italy, His Excellency Nadeem Riaz also hosted a sumptuous dinner for the members of APBF, at the Pakistan Embassy in Rome. The distinguished personalities attending the dinner included; the Italian Ambassador to Pakistan Stefano Pontecorvo, the Chairman of Pakistan's Board of Investments Miftah Ismail, the President of Italian Trade Association Ricardo Monti, the President of APBF Ibrahim Qureshi, the Secretary General of APBF Syed Maaz Mahmood, and many leading entrepreneurs of Italy.-PR
