Trading activity picked up on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday in the process of business, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab was higher by Rs 150 to Rs 10,000 and Masoor Canada registered lower at Rs 10400, Gur low type was up by Rs 500 to Rs 6000 and the best type was higher by Rs 800 to Rs 7000, Khandsari rose by Rs 500 to Rs 7500, they said.
On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh inferior type lost Rs 100 to Rs 2900 and the fine variety was down by Rs 20 to Rs 3030, they added. On the seed side, castorseed Lasbela lost Rs 50 to Rs 2000, Castorseeds Sindh registered at Rs 1800-1850, castorseed Lakhra at Rs 2050, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh low type was down by Rs 40 to Rs 2000 and the good quality was lower by Rs 50 to Rs 2150, they said.
Prices were unchanged on the grams side, they added.
