Former Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Saturday left for London to meet former president and co-chairman of Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari to discuss Panama leaks. Before departing for London, Rehman Malik sent a letter to Interpol's general secretary demanding formation of inquiry committee over Panama Papers leaks.
The leader said that investigation against Panama government should be launched at first priority. He said that legal action at international level is needed. He advised not to fight over Panama Papers. Talking to media persons Rehman Malik said that PPP would not be the part of any sit-in, protest or rally. He clarified that Asif Ali Zardari is in London due to his illness whereas PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto has already told about the meeting of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Zardari.
