The spirited team of Pakistan Air Force clinched the trophy of Inter-Services Golf Championship after 25-years by scoring 1139 over 72 holes here at PAF Golf Course on Saturday. The start-studded PAF team succeeded in toppling both Pakistan Army and Pakistan Navy teams. Pakistan Navy took second position by scoring a gross score 1158 runs and Pakistan Army scored 1218 overall over 72 holes.
Sqn Ldr Adeel Hashmi of PAF and Captain Ansar Mehmood of Pakistan Navy were the top scorers in officer categories. L/Niak Muhammad Naeem of Pakistan Army and Cpl Tech Ishfaq of PAF were overall top scorers. Air Commodore Irfan Zaka was the chief guest on this occasion who gave away the trophies and cash prizes to the players besides gold, silver and bronze medals.
