District administration has decided to launch a grand anti-encroachment inside Peshawar city and Kohat Road from April 20, 2016. According to a statement issued here from the office of the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Peshawar Riaz Khan Mehsud an anti-encroachment operation inside Peshawar city and on Kohat Road from Bara Bridge to Badhber Police Station would be launched from April 20.
During the operation all illegal encroachments would be removed for which all necessary steps have been completed. During the operation strict action would be taken against all temporary and permanent encroachment mafias. Similarly, operation against encroachment mafias around canals would also be conducted and FIRs would be registered against all those shopkeepers and encroachment mafias which were earlier removed and have re-established encroachment.
The Deputy Commissioner has warned that only their encroachments will be removed rather they would also arrested to send them behind bar. Regarding the walls of mosques that were demolished in operation against encroachments will be reconstructed by the administration.
The Deputy Commissioner has warned all encroachment mafias to remove their encroachments voluntarily before April 20.
