Provincial lawmaker of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Ashfaq Mangi on Monday announced to join Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) of former Karachi mayor Mustafa Kamal. "We are not here to take power from anybody. We are here to transform lives of people and to establish peace. We are here to prevent people from becoming target killers and to strengthen Pakistan," Kamal said while addressing a press conference along with Mangi and other PSP leaders.
Mangi received a warm welcome upon arrival at Kamal House to announce his joining of PSP. Mangi was MQM's member of Sindh Assembly from PS-127 constituency. He was also a member of MQM's central co-ordination committee. Several other members of MQM's provincial organising committee, too, announced to join hands with Kamal. Several prominent names have already joined PSP since Kamal's return to Karachi last month and formation of the new party, PSP.
