A Pakistan Peoples Party Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter led by former member National Assembly Noor Alam Khan and former deputy Speaker National Assembly Faisal Karim Kundi called on PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Zardari House Islamabad on Tuesday. This delegation was comprised of senior workers from constituency KPK-8.
Speaking to this delegation Chairman Bilawal appreciated people of KPK for standing firm against extremism and terrorism in the most difficult situation. People of KPK also had to face difficulties due to disasters caused by torrential rain and earthquake but they always bounced back from every adversity.
He said PPP is a party with a cause and ideology and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto resisted extremism and terrorism through that ideology. PPP workers have also paid supreme sacrifices fighting terrorism following the footsteps of their great leader. He said Asif Ali Zardari gave identity to the people of KPK. He asked workers to take part in election in KPK-8 like they had participated and won in Dir by-election. On this occasion an independent candidate announced to withdraw his nomination in favour of PPP candidate Tehmash Khan.-PR
