Pakhtunkhwa Milli Aawmi Party (PkMAP) head Mahmood Khan Achakzai called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at his office in Islamabad on Saturday. According to reports, Panama Leaks, formation of a judicial commission and other national issues came under discussion during the meeting. On Friday, Prime Minister Sharif, in a televised address to the nation, announced that he was writing a letter to Chief Justice of Pakistan to constitute a judicial commission for holding an inquiry into offshore companies and money laundering.
He said that he would step down if found guilty by the commission. Opposition parties, however, rejected the proposed commission, saying they were not consulted on terms of reference (ToR).
