Hashoo Foundation, in collaboration with Islamabad Police, District Government and Local NGO, is working towards collecting unwanted/surplus items from urban areas of Islamabad and distributing them among identified deserving communities of rural and slum areas. The prime objective of the Project is to meet the basic needs of vulnerable communities of rural and slum areas of Islamabad. As a result of this at least 200 families will be provided with basic necessities in the pilot phase of the project. This project would be launched on the April 28. Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, SSP Islamabad along with senior bureaucracy, BoT Members of Hashoo Foundation and representatives of Hashoo Group would grace the event."
