Kulsoom's body to reach Pakistan on Friday

LAHORE: The body of former first lady Begum Kulsoom Nawaz will reach here on Friday at 6:00 am by PK-758.

The flight carrying body of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz will leave for Lahore from Heathrow airport on Thursday at 10:00 pm according to Pakistan Standard Time.

Her funeral prayer will be held at Jati Umra.

According to Sharif family sources, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif who had already left for London will return Pakistan on Friday along with Kulsoom's body.

PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurengzeb told reporters here that a second funeral prayer of late Kulsoom Nawaz would be offered at Sharif Medical Complex at 5:00 pm following which Kulsoom would be buried alongside her father-in-law, Mian Sharif, at Jati Umra.

"Qul for the departed soul will be held at Jati Umra between Asr and Maghrib prayer," she added.
