Opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah lambasted Inspector General Islamabad Police for ordering the registration of an FIR against former Chairman Senate Nayyar Hussain Bukhari. Opposition Leader stated that the IG had ordered the registration of an FIR without carrying out an inquiry into the matter. Former Chairman Senate Nayyar Hussain Bukhari had slapped a policeman when he was asked to undergo search before entering local courts' area. Shah said he would take up the matter in the forthcoming session of the National Assembly.
