The law enforcement agencies (LEAs) personnel on Friday arrested five terrorist of banned Baloch Republican Army (BRA) and recovered arms, explosives, hand grenades and detonators from their possession. DIG said that on an intelligence tipoff regarding presence of extremist, the police and sensitive agencies personnel conducted joint operation in Sindh-Balochistan border area of Kandhkot.
During operation after minor resistance the LEAs personnel arrested five terrorists of defunct BRA besides recovering 12 kilogram explosive material, two hand grenades, two detonators, one timer and two pistols from their possession. The recovered weapons and ammunition was taken into custody and the detainees were shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation and according to sources important revelations were expected.
